CIX, a primarily Fortress-based clan established in 1998, are looking for a few more Q3F players.

Ideally, applicants should come from the UK or Ireland, and be good communicators. CIX are a very social clan, and we would rather have intelligent, lively people who are willing to learn and work as a team rather than sharp shooting automatons with nothing to give.

Please note that we also play CS and QW:TF, so experience with either of this is a distinct advantage.

My lasting memory of CiX-TF was the blatent rudeness of certain members of the clan. Pity as others in there were quite nice.

I must admit I'm frankly shocked, as we've got a reputation as being the nicest TF clan in the whole UK!

I think it was Fragster and Darkie, but since my IRC logs are scattered all over the place, i'm not sure.


Have CiX given up waiting for TF2 yet?

Ahh. That was a good year or two ago. Fragster is a reformed character, good bloke, who moved clans a while back. Darkie and a few others had a "difference of opinion" with the way I wanted to run the clan (i.e. with honour) and left to form their own.

I know that CiX-TF had some sort of split a while back (led by Batchie i think), but i thought Darkie didn't join it. I'm not as fond of TF as i used to be, but i might try it so that i can be the only person who has been a member of all of CiX's clans..


Think there was another one i had an argument with over TF implementations and netcode but that was probably as much my fault as his/hers.

Currently clan CIX play the following games: QW:TF, Q3F, CS

Based on feedback received so far, this might also include Front Line Force and UnF.

I beleive we're the only CIX clan left (i.e. clan named CIX), as COB became, er, COB.

I can't remember the exact details (might have the name wrong). I've been playing Quake since the shareware version came out, so my memories are smeared over quite a long period..

I was talking about CiX-based clans rather than CiX-named clans (such as Clan Nasty that was formed from the Pink team that played in the internal CiX league back in 1996-1997).
