Picked up a few movies on HD off play so figured i would share :)

10,000 BC
It was ok, a nice movie overall but i cant say it was anything special. However if you liked movies like Apocalypto its well worth a watch

The Brother's Grimm
Good movie, the forest scenes were amazing in high def
I am a bit of a sucker for fantasy movies though so a little biased
Fans of movies such as Big Fish, The golden compass, Pans Labryth etc.. you will like this one

My favorite - The Forbidden Kingdom
Jet Li, Jackie Chan,Collin Chou (guy from matrix)
Fast paced, great fight scenes mixed with a bit of chinese lore and mythisism and you have to be onto a winner.
Mix in fantastic enviroments and very well done sfx make it worth grabbing on Blu Ray
It is a bit westernised (courtest of John Fusco) which i thought was a shame as the cheesy comedy moments were better suited to Rush Hour than here but still overall a awesome movie.
Slightly lighter hearted than Hero, Fearless, War probably brought in by Jackie Chan but still worth a watch

10 000 BC was an ok movie. Although i was hoping it would be more realistic.

There were no pyramids in 10 000BC. :ninja:

I liked all 3 movies though I don't particulary remember the brothers grimm since it was so long since I saw it but the tales are well known and I remember I though the movie was good. 10 000 BC was awsome until the end imo, where it lost me totally.

And Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the same movie can't fail really :>

Got to agree with you there, the end of 10,000 bc was a bit meh
I was expecting a warlord or something but pyramids

Still it was well made so you tend to forgive silly things like that :)

The Forbidden Kingdom I've seen 2-3 times. The reference to Chan's early film was the best part imho. (Well, plus Li vs Chan)

lol 10,000 BC was OK once I decided to watch it and think it's based on another planet (like stargate or something) because watching it and hoping for anything historically accurate will drive you nuts, i really want a sabretoothed tigger though :D

oh and i loved the brothers grimm, (yep, am a fan of big fish etc) really like the whole mixed up take on a fairy tale.

btw i saw Wanted the other day, tis OK if your after action and bendy bullets and anjelina jolie etc, beginning is quite funny then it turns in to a bit of a rocky film with all the high intensity training and will he wont he make the grade then i went to bed just before the end (nothing wrong with the modie it was just i was knackered) because it got a bit samey but its not a bad movie.

oh also watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang....have to recommend it to everyone, great film its a bit of a film noir tribute with very funny moments, loved it.
