Its been decided that climbing down chimneys is bug-exploiting

And you just know he's gotta be abusing some kinda lag jumping issue to get down teh chimney in the first place...

Unless he just throws the pressies under the tree exploiting some LoS bug...

on a serious note:

christmas technically is a religious festival, and i don't think they can promote it too much without also mentioning some of the other religious festivals that happen this time of year...

besides, the 'happy holidays' toy maker quest last year was fairly pointless... go help some toy makers kill this guy with some theurg pet mobs, then get a 2 copper toy sword for doing it...

maybe they should have added the bottle/barrel thing for christmas/holidays.. then at least it would seem like something that is very useful and worthwhile :)

btw, Merry Christmas everyone

For christmas GoA will be roasting Gamah on top of Caer Benowyc on Christmas eve.

During this time the keep will be 'neutral', and anyone entering to witness this spectacular event will be unable to harm others inside. Donations are welcome, bring your own tupperware, trolls, inconnu, elves and especially lurikeens.

Following the Gamah-Roast, we'll be putting Preacherboypip on a giant kebab skewer and filling him with as much fireworks as humanly possible, sending him back to Thor once and for all. And if he makes it back to earth, we'll just do it again curtesy of the Graendel express.

Merry Christmas

Since you want a serious note, Xmas is actually a pagan celebration which was adopted by christianity. There you go

Correct u are. Christmas was originaly a festival to celebrate the darkest day in the year 22 december and ofc Christianity claims it to be Jesus birthday but thats BS acording to the siencetists

The moral of this is , its not insulting against other religions to add christmas and not their "holy times" because loads of cultures celebrated "the day the sun turns"

Merry christmass all

Santa used a 3rd party macro programme to craft all the presents. He got caught and perma-banned, which means there will be no Christmas ever again. I heard he's rerolling as the Easter Bunny though so there might be some goodies around that time :drink:

its not santa's fault that rudolf radars at the front and hes just on stick most of the time.

and when it comes to chimneys he probbly falls through the geometry of the house and gets out by walking through the walls till he pops onto the roof :D

and present craftage is all done at santa hq and everyone knows santa has lots of elfs to help him craft.

anywho dont blame santa blame rudolf :D

It was originally called Jul (for English speakers read: Yol / "Yool"), and that's what we still call it in Scandinavia, it's the oldest tradition we have (documented), they found some 4000 year old script about a festival where people from all over Scandinavia gathered and drank 'Juleøl' (Yol beer).

The Christians took away all our old traditions, except for this one that we still have. (This one they couldn't take away, but they made an excuse to celebrate it, by moving Christ's birthday to Yol and calling it Christmas, although we never started calling it Christmas in Scandinavia, as we still celebrate Yol.)

Merry Jul! May the Juleøl be good this year all!

which explains the whole Yuletide thing? :) (just thinking that it may have been a phonetic adaptation of Jule...)

It's more an explaination why we have a yule log (made out of chocolate usually), but some places actually still use a real log and watch it burn rather then eat it :p, other then that, 'Boxing Day' was to do with some noble blokey giving his servants presents in a box on that day, right, thats enough from me :p.
