Christmas Party! yay!

It happened. With much discussion, hurried plans, and unrehersed acting. But it happened!

First, we gathered around the fountain (most christmassy thing we could find in camelot, and hey! it was next to the stage!) and had Glögg (warms the noggins on a cold day!) and some general chit-chat.

Then the people who had gifts with them, gave these to the poor and needy (ie everyone else ).

The culmination, was A Christmas Carol; The story about Scrooge, performed on the open stage by volunteers from all over Albion.


We (at PARPs) had a blast! We even ended the evening in Cafal's Corner, with a quick round of Strip Poker


Merry Christmas to those who did not attend, for various reasons, and a happy newyear from PARP.

Wow, well done to everyone involved in organising and staging the play, because that was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen in DaoC. If I hadn't seen it myself, I would not have believed it could work so well (and I wish someone had filmed it.)

Especial kudos to Myddrin, who was perfectly cast as Scrooge <runs away to hide now> -- and to whoever wrote the script, which was very Dickensian!

I think that us Highlanders are just more comfortable wearing less. I mean after all the Mythic gods did make it so when we take off our leggings you actually see skin!

Well I didn't lose many pieces either, only 2 I believe. I only ended up passed out and without my clothing because of that damn whiskey!
