What actually happens once you're married on a game like this?

I'm not trying to flame but it just seems so incrediably strange to me. Is it just roleplay for the good of the game? Does it affect the way you play? Or are you guys just lonely?

Like I said, not a flame, just a curious guy.

Its roleplaying, essentially. Choppy and I have been best friends for a long time in game and away. Plus its a chance to create an event for the realm and you get really great pressies

Afterwards its just more rp and gives our character more depth. It is whatever you make it to be, to be honest.

Roleplay is just that. You play a role. Whether that role includes Thee's and Thou's, or you being as grumpy as you seem to be in real life doesn't matter, it's all roleplaying.

People defining roleplaying as 'this' but not 'that' usually don't have a clue, or are missing the point. (Except me, of course. I can make those statements, and I just did.

Bottom line is that you roleplay for fun -- which is why we all play this game, isn't it?

We are all roleplaying here. Be it a guy who run round 24/7 defending hsi homeleand (rp machines) or the peopel who hang around in Ludlow talking about 'that there horse's fine back end'.

Now, to share my 2 copper on some of the other issues here, regarding rp.

RP, as I see it, is not something that is based on rules, which is what makes rp such an amazing thing Wether you roleplay the village idiot like sicko here, or go as far as to get married and even fiddle around with (gasp) emotions IG, then more power to you.

If you have fun rp'ing the way you do it, just keep at it, fun is why you should play this game (Just keep it within the CoC mind you ).

But as a few above have said, if you have fun roleplaying, then do it and have fun, there are no rules set in stone that says roleplay must be like this or that. After all, fun is the name of the game (arf, made teh funneh).
