Just need a Chess question answering, i play on yahoo from time to time and i usually get me ass kicked, but last night i was totally kicking this guys ass(i had major pieces left and he only had pawns left), anyway, i was clearing up his pieces when it came down to him just having his king and 2 pawns left, so i then took his last but one pawn and then it(not him)declared a draw, is there a rule that i don't know about that states that if your opponent is left with just 1 pawn and his king the game is declared a draw?I was terribly upset especially after doing so badly at CS as well

Are you sure you're last move didn't put him in stalemate (where he cannot move) ?

He could of moved his pawn i believe, although im not sure.Hmmmm maybe that was what happened, i did get 2 points and he lost 2 points.

Hmmm. Unless his king was in stalemate (unable to move anywhere due to the surrounding places being in check) you should have won Trems. His pawn shouldn't have mattered. Stalemate only happens once you only have your king left out of all your pieces.
