Ladies and gents,

As I noticed there isnt much commentary of our server goings on around the WWW, I thought I would have a crack at starting a column.

I will probably update it once a fortnight or so, even though its early name is 'A Week In Excalibur'

The link is in my sig, World of Sprout. Would welcome any comments, positive or negative, particularly anything about improving the formatting of it from a Tripod veteran.

Also, its going to be a bit Midgard biased, owing to my playing there. During goings on such as last weekend with the huge RR bonanza, I would really appreciate short reports from Albion and Hibernia.

Cheers :)

A little other-side perspective from your RR commentary...

A realm with the population of Albion is never truly asleep, and I have to say that their lack of resistance is a little dissapointing to say the least.

of the 72 albs online (in total - of all levels) they mustered 24 or so high enough to charge to the relic keep - none made it alive :(

Ok,

Site has now been moved from Tripod to my guilds site, so if you click the link now it should take you there.

Id appreciate it if those who went and saw the Tripod one went and took a look at this one, and anyone else stumbling on this post does the same.

Just click the link for 'A week in Excalibur'

Also, I want announcements and such, as I intend to start an events section when there are events to announce. This is for all three realms, so PM me here with your news!!

Cheers

looks good

i sense the foul stench and opinion of a midgarder on it though

There are two ways to do this. You either nerf the LA styles, or you nerf End Regen. Personally I would rather see neither, but if it really is a choice between the two, I hope its LA. Nerfing End Regen would hurt almost every class in Midgard. As a Shaman I have found that since 32 Aug, casting End Reg really is very easy, and makes me feel that I bring something worthwhile to the table. I know this might not be the popular choice amongst the zerker community, but if they nerf End Regen, they nerf us all.

hahahahahaha

you got both!

:D

nah its good really :D

My only comments would be the colours, I am viewing it using mozilla on linux (shock horror)

I cannot see any of the links clearly without holding the mouse over them to highlight :(

Please can you change the orange on black colour scheme? I am also not a fan of using coloured text that cannot be seen if the background coloured picture fails to load for some reason, it's a problem I have a lot with the camelot-europe site

Other than that, good idea! One think I would suggest would be to see if you could interest someone from both hibernia and albion as column writers, you could all share the work of writing and would provide varying perspectives on the game.

Oh and the picture in the top left seems to be broken atm.
