I have some questions.
I have played on the planet online sconfig server for about 6 months (it has cloak and hook).
Over the last coupla months we have had people using a cheat that enables them to have permanent invuln and/or quad, which spoils the game for everyone else, so much so that a lot of the old guard have left permanently. This is a great shame as at one time it was a very friendly server with all the camaraderie of old. I can't understand what these cheats pay their phone charges for. One individual in particular really is annoying by staying on for hours, changing his name, so u can't tell whether he's on thru gspy and then winding everyone up with derogatory comments to other players. I would name him but he'd only change his name.
My questions are these:-
could we get in touch with the server admin to get him banned?
if so how?
what is the best approach?
has anyone else encountered similar idiots?
any help would be appreciated as they are spoiling what is to many, many people a very enjoyable server.

The best thing u can do is to remember what time he was on and one of his names, then attempt to contact the Server Admin about him/them, they should be able to find his IP (Logged) and do something about it.

Failing that introduce some code that stops the cheating, much the same as BW did for the Zbot/Ratbot (Nice one guys

Seems that there is a hypocrite complaining about cheats on this post when he does the same thing himself .
Playing on this server last night on DM8 someone who has a post here and is getting beat 15 to 1 decides they will use permanent invulnerability cos i have the ps .
This person is also clanned and when this post first went up i was not even playing Q2 online Sucks when you need to cheat to beat a newbee .

yep been on this server a few times and liked the krak, not bad game 2. but sum phooker was on when i came on and he was winning...5 mins l8tr i was. thats was when he started using the cheat...wots the point of a quad+666 cheat u knew u cant be beat theres no fun in that
also on the planet online dm servers there is a dude/dudes using invisability the cuntor/z. wish they would either learn to play or just fuk off. spoils it 4 everyone.
