Cheating Server and Pic Save help...

Hey guys, i just went onto a Server (AbFab Server), and when i went onto it a few mins ago, and while i was in the Console (While i was connecting to the Server) a HUGE List of Cheats Enabled come up.

So anyway, i played, and asked WHY the Cheat stuff where in the Console/Server.

I got no Reply, BUT, i noticed the Admins of the room had fucked about w/ my GamePlay, i found they made me WALK, well, not even walk, more like Crawling along, so basically i couldnt move at all.

I left the Server, and checked to see whether it was just a lil Lag Problem... when i returned i still couldnt move.

So i left CounterStrike Totally, just incase the Ingame options where screwed, i returned, and still i found i couldnt run.

So then it clicked that they must be gettin me back by ruining my Game, because i told the room about what was in the Console.


Anyway, so i got miffed at them, and they thought it was funny, so i assigned a Key to take a screen shot of the Console, w/ all the Cheats Enabled, only problem is, i dont know where to look, and dont know what format the screen shot is in (.jpg / .gif etc)



Could you help me out someone...

the way to take pics of the console is to type 'snapshot', or maybe 'screenshot' into the console.

use snapshot to find mapname0001.bmp in your half-life dir.

if you use screenshot, it will save it as your graphics cards default. or soemhting :/
for me that means mapname0001.tga
besides .tga, the only other filetype i know screenshot could save it as is .pcx i think.

yeah, i understand that i guess, but, thing is you cant type when your logging onto a server, and thats where i need to take a pic of, just as its finished loading in... if you understand that..? lol

press 'Print Screen' and paste into a bmp viewer

1: try enabling console debug mode. not sure wether what your talking about would get logged, and even if it was it would be in a textfile, so it wouldn't be proof.
enable with 'condebug' in the console, or maybe in your config.

2: do a 'condump' and it'll be dumped to a text file. but same as above for details.

3: scroll up with the 'page up' key. if you can scroll up far enough youll get it, but im not sure wether it would take the screenshot before it zooms down again when you press enter. also, when new stuff is entered to the console, it'll scroll down again, so might wanna do it during a quiet moment.

Who really cares?

Its a private clan server. They have every right to do what they like, they can use admin mod and toher things like it to fiddle with individual players settings.

Either join in their fun, or get the hint that they dont want you playing.

Really you shouldnt complain about anything like that unless its on a public server. Then you complain to the people that run it.

BTW I also wouldnt drag Abfabs reputation through the dirt by saying they cheat. I have played with them on their PB on servers, if they want fun know and again let them

This is now the most pointless worthless piece of shit in existence. It should instantly be removed from all servers and people should not be forced to use something which only makes people think that noone is cheating when in fact it does bugger all to stop cheating.

just realised what 'list of cheats enabled' meant.

it not anything dodgy, i would imagine it's hl cheats they've got on, such as god mode ect....

Agreed Ceno, but this was a while back when PB was still being updated and it was cathing a few poeple a day.

Fact is the had HL built in cheats enabled on their own server, so what?
