Cheat? huh?

I'm sure it's been answered before but i can't find it.

I keep getting kicked from CS for having a cheat on my hardrive. Curious considering I've never used a cheat in my life. Any possible solutions?

I'm using CS Mod version 1.4 and the HL 1.1.0.9. Thank you in advance.

Hmmm, I think you must have one, or a banned script of some sort. Is it a BW server?

interesting.... but just on a server (BW) 2 people where caught within mmm 5seconds of joining.

Shame it doent tell you what cheat they're usin anymore, just says they've been Disconnected from Server

Well CS Guard dosnt scan your whole drive just your half-life folder so you must have a residual hack in it ,just uninstall then reninstall half-life and this will cure your problem

Lots of useless answers here. The problem is that you are running in Software graphics mode.

This might help.A half-life mappack called "Road Rage" contains an OGC OpenGl hack.

If you have downloaded "roadrage", you will also have unwittingly downloaded the OGC OpenGl hack. This might have caused the problem you are having.

Thanks all, twas indeed the software graphics doodad. I was running Direct 3D but when i updated to 1.4 it changed to Software Grahics, thanks once again for the fix.

maybe.. mybe not, i remember when i first started CS, i had a GF2 Card and had my Graphics set to D3d, and did so for months, until i seen screenshots which where thousand times better than mine.

I then asked someone why, and he said just set the settings to OpenGL

Yeah I got a OpenGL card. I don't know why I just prefer the look of CS in Direct 3D, can't explain it, I just don't really like OpenGL. Am I odd?

Yes you are. Change to OpenGL, be normal.

I used CS in software mode for the first month, I completely sucked. Then I started to improve when I put OpenGL on!
