Cheapest Nvidia card required for nice gfx

Like the title says, what is the lowest spec gfx card for the sexeh water graphics...but more importantly, for the Ice Wizzie pbaoe blast to look, well, like an ice blast.

Also, have people been having problems with the ti4200? Is it not worth even contemplating?

i got the Ti4200, get a agp 8x version with 128mb on it and you'll be fine except in big raids you will have some gfx lag

Yeah, Agreed, ATM the GEoforce TI 4200 128mb RAM is the best if you're on a budget.

Probably the Cheapest one without getting a crap brand is the Palit systems card.

I've used this one for about 3-4 months with no problems.
I've even overclocked it to the same speed as a TI4400.
And yeah, it supports all the watery effects and so on.

But keep in mind that the next DAOC expansion will need a DX9 card if you want to get ALL the effects from that (this card only supports DX8.1).
So my next card will definitely support DX9.
But I won't be upgrading my Vid card until around January probably.
