Chars Logging In Without Any Of Their Items - Only Cash

Hi,
I havent played DAoC for about a month, maybe 2 months, but ive just logged in my 38 Eldritch to find that all of her items are gone - everything she was wearing and everything in her bags. So i logged her out and logged in one of my lowbie chars to find the same thing has happened - she was only wearing /level stuff but its all gone - im now too scared to log in my high chars just incase the same thing happens! What do i do?

They were wearing the clothes etc in the start up screen.

Does this happen if u go away for a while?
