If you terminate your account, will your characters be deleted immediately or will they be stored for a while? If so, for how long? Anybody know?

from the american servers I know they're stored for a while, but not that long, like a month or so

They are supposed to be stored, although there's no certainty. It's not mentioned anywhere in the CoC if they are, it's just common se... oh well

they are stored, probatly till GOA needs the space or something...

if you just dont pay your account they are stored for 6 months before deletion.
i dont know how long they will stay if you cancel your account though.

This question was asked on the old official boards and I seem to recall the answer being 60 days (it might have been 90, but I am fairly sure it was 60). But Kemor also added that they wouldn't automatically delete characters after that time, only do so to free up storage space.
