For a one-time fee of $40 per account split, customers will be allowed to move up to four characters from an established account to a brand new account, as long as the characters remain on the same server. Standard subscription fees for the old and new accounts will still apply.

Does this also apply to two existing accounts? My hubby has his friar on the same account as my sorc main. Later one we got a second account which now has a level 50 cleric, theurg and arms.
However he would still prefer to play this friar with my sorc and therefore moving the friar to the second account would be the solution.
Anyone know?

Nope, can't do - the transfer can't take place, if the account is older than 30 days (read the FAQ ie. ;p)

So we'll see a bunch of retired chars being split onto new accounts and Ebay'd (at least on US servers) when this goes live then.

Itll be interesting to see if GOA do this too, since given GOAs current CoC theres no reason why they should. Mythic permit account sharing, whereas its still against GOAs rules.

Im sure GOA would like the extra $$$s (or should that be €€€s) from this, but theyd have to rewrite their CoC to come up with a valid reason for it first

True. And since many peeps have quit, GOAts want to make up their loss of money with many ways...

I dont see why, if Mythic is able to do this, that they dont offer a way to sell your characters via a secure method... Because I'm sure Mythic knows this is done purely for selling characters... (well 75% of the cases)

Take a fixed fee, or a % of the sale of the character, and Mythic is set...

Perhaps have Mythic sell level 50's in Epic Armor for a set price too, and they have a booming business right there...
