While Rightnow is down I thought I would air my problem here and see if anyone can offer any advice.
I have one account. When changing between characters logged in the same area, like Jordheim for example, I don't have a problem. However, when changing from a character logged in Aegirs Landing, to a character logged in say Huginfell, the loading screen appears, the loading bar goes from 0 to 100% as you would expect, and even the sound of the area plays for a short time, but it NEVER gets past the loading screen.
I've tried Alt-Tabbing to get back to windows, and all the other methods of "coming out" of a program to no avail.
This doesn't just happen with Aegirs landing by the way. I have the same problem in Darkness Falls for example. The problem only seems to have occurred after the 1.62 patch.
I have Windows XP, 2 gig processor, 768MB RAM, a firewall and antivirus software (antivirus not running while playing DAoC). All drivers and software updates are up to date.
Any help would be appreciated!...
