Changing the last name in DAoC ?

The release notes in 1.51 say we can change the surname by talking to the name registrar for 5g


Well, I tried that this morning but the idiot only tells me I already havea surname.

Has anyone found out how to get the NPC to interact ?

Bastards! I sent Rightnow a mail about a month back asking to drop my lastname, and they said to wait for the patch, now i find out i cant???

you can't remove the last name, only change it.

Change ur name into something foul and report urself and they wil remove it for u... hopefully.. could be worth the risk of being banned

Yes /lastname None works... to 90 % ;p you don't see a lastname anymore, but others see "None" as your lastname, prolyl bugged

It is not possible to entirely remove the lastname. That goes both for us and for the lastname registrars.
