Anyone else play CM01/02 by any chance? Everywhere I go I seem to be the only one, yes - I'm evidently sad

It's just addictive, especially if you're a football fan... not sure what it is.

I played it for a while, indeed you gave me some valuable advice I believe James, for some reason I didn't play it for a couple of days and broke the cycle. Now I'm scared to play again in case it steals my life again.

Mind you the shortcut is there, just staring me in the face....

Yay, people who play it! What's everyones best season then?

I had a good season as Arsenal, where I won the Premiership with only 3 (I think) losses and I only signed one player - Van Nistelrooy.

Currently playing as Liverpool in season 07/08, won the Premiership twice in a row, finished second in all the others except last season where I lost my last match and finished third.

Nistelrooy always comes Top Scorer in the Premiership/Euro Cup for me, i played it for 5seasons and he scored 25+ each season in the Prem

Football's dull and therefore so is Championship Manager.

HOWEVER

I had a similar style game on my Acorn Electron called Lemonade Stand or something whereby you had to run a successful lemonade retail outlet by staring at columns of numbers. TOP STUFF!

I always quite liked Milan Osterc in it. He's poo in rl but again in CM his hidden stats are very good (consistency, etc.).

Ronald Gomez is always a very good striker in the first couple of seasons, unfortunately he passes his peak by the third season.

Theres a Guy called "To Madeira" he isnt really any good for Top Clubs (Premiership) but for the LowerLeague Teams he is meant to be the Dogs Bollocks.

Altho he is considered a Cheat, because there is no such Player in RL and his Stats are too good anyway

In the 99/00 Game I had a stormer of an Inter Team!

I won the the League every year for 9 years but only managed to win the champions league ONCE!! Which was in the 9th season after which I decided to stop playing and leave the house more than once a week

No Word yet, but SiGames are releases their magazine on the 24th of this Month, which will have all the Information needed (Screenshots, Release Dates etc etc)
