are these stats deffinate? + mages wnt be able to get over 8% spell dmg usin weaps w/o feckin up other rings, nailhs/gov = 4% champ weap = 4%, only other dmg vs all that ino of it ml10 staff, obv cnt use that, and GoLM but slot is taken by AT or EC for pericing.

So many ppl got CS, you can make do with 5% passive and 5% active IMO. I just like the shapechange on AT a lot >_< but I might just try to get 10%dmg instead :p

im just gonna kick CS from temp =)) h8 the thing now with a usable staff u can get 4% castin spd aswell can easy get other 6 from other items and can include FW which has much higher utility than CS.

the delve on that charge looks like it might be just 10% damage - no resist piercing...

(the heretic self buff is "damage with resist piercing" archmagery and is listed as 10% resist pierce 0% damage...)

Spd4.2 on h2h version and 5.5 on 2h version... imo that's just lame. Sally tails are spd 4.4 with 7 dex cap, and battler/malice are spd 5.6 with imo competable procs/charges as the ones on champ weapons.

And what's with the 2x 5 str cap on h2h version?

Would probably consider using the 2h version if I want to try respeccing to 2h again sometime, but I don't know if the h2h version could replace a sally tail in my opinion..

Champ weapon details:
You can aquire your champion weapon either by completing a series of quests, or by reaching Champion Level 5.

10% of your xp (all xp - pve, rvr, quests...) is taken and credited to your champion level. It takes a pretty good amount to progress, but I'm sure there are people out there who will be able to grind out CL5 in an evening.

There are two versions of the weapon, the 'base' version and the 'advanced' version. The base version is earned after reaching a milestone in the quest series. The weapon you recieve at CL5 will be the advanced version.


The base stats are:

All Magic Skills: 3 pts
Dexterity: 6 pts
Power: 6% of power pool

Focus Bonuses:
All spell lines: 50 lvls

Level Requirement:
Level 50

Bonus to magic damage: 4%
Bonus to casting speed: 4%
Bonus to Dex cap: 6
Bonus to Acu cap: 6

Magical Ability:
Replenish Power - 50%

Once you reach the next milestone in the quest series (or CL5) you unlock a secondary magical ability which is added to the basic staff. You can choose ONE of two possibile abilities.


1 -
Boon of Kings
Target has improved health and armor for this spell's duration.
10% bonus, self target, 5 minute duration

2 -
Arch Magery
Grants target additional spell damage and ability to penetrate target's resistances.
10% bonus, self target, 30 second duration


12 minute reuse for staff abilities, and yes the primary and secondary abilities are on the same timer. If you take the arch magery bonus, it's kinda like blending tartaros and traldors into one badass staff.
