i put the opening style for the parry thingys on my main one, and the 2nd and 3rd on a seperate bar.

Other than this you read my mind, i was going to mak ethe very same post. I hope this is regarding LW.

I am still to find a spot for shatter... :/

Mine reads
1- DD
2- (dunno the name) The slow attackspeed style
3- Celtic fury - taunt
4- anihlation (sp :p )
5- crawl
6- /stick
7- if they parry combo
8- opening style for if i parry combo

all debuffs on another panel with ip and fa2 (in 4rp time)

well in patch 1.50 we got the backup style thing, and yes i use it if i'm having some smalls rvr fights, else nope, becasue ur target is going to die fast enough, so no need for nice style combo's. Therefore i have the styles after block (gimped s/s here =) on second quickbar and next to my open anytime style, so easy to hit them both fast.
so here is my 2 first quickbars

first:
1. say INC
2. stick
3. debuff str/con
4. DD
5. slam
6. sword blow (taunt or fire blade)
7. face
8. sprint

second
1. guard
2. intercept
3. snare
4. shield style after block
5. anytime sword style
6. sword style after block #1
7. sword combo #2
8. sword combo #3

as u can see easy to make backup styles in second quickbar, by hiting 4 and 5, or if target allrdy stuned 6 and 5.

For my main rvr quick bar I go for the less is more approach

1 - Stick
2 - Face
3 - DD
4 - Snare
5 - Slam
6 - Taunting blade
7 - purge
8 - IP

Taunting blade I think most blade users will agree is a much better anytime style than fireblade due to lower end usage and gives around the same damage. When I respec I'll probably switch slam with Annhilation and Taunting blade with Celtic Fury.

Before the RAs came in I had engage and the str/con debuff on here, but as a shield user I tend not to get targetted by archers. Unless I've just done /quit at DL entrance, then Aussie will probably shoot me.

Most fights don't tend to allow time for any reactionary or positional styles (except Annhilation of course).

I have other hotbars set up but this is the one I probably use the most.

My quickbars for a LW champ are:

5th bar: (my primary one tho lol)

Str/Con Debuff
Dex/Qui Debuff
Attack Speed Debuff
DD
Snare
/stick macro
celtic fury
annihilation

4th bar: (my RAs and general non-combat bar)

Intercept
Sprint
/say enter macro
Wrath Of the Champion
hotkey for Ring Of Elements DD charges
/stick macro
FA 2
erm something.. can't remember what, I haven't sued it in ages..
Ignore Pain

3rd bar: (my secondary RvR bar)

Ultimate Recovery (the follow up is on bar 2 in slot 1 also)
Celtic Rage (the follow up is on bar 2 in slot 2 also)
Shatter
DD
Frontal Assualt
/stick macro
Celtic Fury
Annihilation

If I were to do it all again I'd change a lot of things I think. (firrst thing, hotkay bar 1 woul be my primary one, not 5 lol) but I'm prety stuck in my ways now ;)

Actually i use the first 4-6 slots of the first 5 qbars as main. Swapping betwen em fast with shift + qbarnumber. The last slots on qbars have the less used stuff. Normally qbar3 is the one to start with.

qbar1:
1-debuff str/con
2-debuff dex/qui
3-attack speed debuff
4-/face
5-sprint
6-intercept
7-guard
8-protect

qbar2:
1-DD
2-celticfury (anytime backup)
3-frontal assault
4-stick
5-offparrychain
6-offparrychain
7-offparrychain
8-sprint

qbar3:
1-DD
2-celticfury (anytime backup)
3-anihilation
4-stick
5-snare
6-offtargetblocks
7-offtargetparrieschain
8-offtargetparrieschain

qbar4:
1-ip
2-fa
3-purge
4-bpcrystal
5-bpcrystal
6-bpcrystal
7-bpcrystal
8-bpcrystal

qbar5:
1-DD
2-1hblades taunt
3-engage
4-/face
5-shield
6-blade
7-2h
8-guard

qbar6:.
Domination and other useless styles + chargued itams.

qbar7:
Siege and normal crafting.

qbar8:
macros and emote crap.

Dont really need the incoming 10slots qbars tho.

My BG1 level 24 Champion, Ulricke, specced in LW has the
following QB set up for close up encounters:

1 - Domination (use anytime)
2 - Frontal Assault (position front)
3 - insta DD (dee dee)
4 - str/con debuff
5 - dex/qui debuff
6 - snare
7 - /stick
8 - sprint (<-- this is to catch the bad guyz up, Ulricke never flees!)

For PvE I have quickbars 2 and 3 set up like this

(usually for soloing)

1 - Domination
2 - Frontal Assault
3 - Celtic Rage (chains off parry)
4 - Hibernian Vigor (chains off nr 3)
5 - insta DD
6 - str/con debuff
7 - dex/qui debuff
8 - snare

(usually in party)

1 - Domination
2 - Celtic Fury (taunt)
3 - Hibernian Force (side based)
4 - Obliteration (chains off nr 3)
5 - insta DD
6 - str/con debuff
7 - dex/qui debuff
8 - snare

Quickbar 4 has an extra sprint button, protect and intercept.

Well, this is what I use so far, and i must say I'm pretty ok with this setting. Just one thing to remember: ALWAYS have your DeeDee and debuffs handy, they're your bread'n'butter, so to speak. You dont really have to use a lot of styles if you dont like... I myself have found, at times, that Obliteration (the second use anytime style) does a pretty decent damage and if you get lucky you critical for as much as your base damage (that is damage of 100+, critical of 100 or above... yep, happens to me :-D )

My spec at lev 24 is :
LW - 24
Valour - 21 + 2 (or 22 + 2, cant remember offhand), the +2 is from the screaming ring. Yes i know its purple, shh!
Parry - 10 (the parry chain is pretty nice!)

//Uli.

PS: Dont you just LOVE the LW style names?? :-D

2- Dex/quick debuff

As a bard and druid, I never use chains/combos. Could someone tell me how you set them up on a QB button?

Depending on the situation I use several quickbars

Quickbar1
  1. DD
  2. Celtic Rage
  3. Hibernian Vigour (2nd in parry combo)
  4. Gigantic Blow
  5. Ultimate Recovery
  6. Devastate
  7. Frontal Assault
  8. Celtic Fury
Quick Bar2
    1. Hibernain Force (side opening style)
    2. Obliteration
    3. Demolish
    4. DD
    5. Shatter
    6. /stick
    7. Domination
    8. Hibernian Wrath
Quickbars 3 and 4 Crafting

      quickbar5
Shield (Engage and Guard) and Blunt styles and Seigecraft

      Quickbar 6
      1. LW weapon
      2. Blunt Weapon
      3. Shield
      4. /enter
      5. Dex/Quick debuff
      6. Attack Speed Debuff
      7. Domination
      8. Devastate
Quickbar7
        1. DD
        2. Str/Con debuff
        3. Snare
        4. /stick
        5. Celtic Rage
        6. Annhialation
        7. Frontal Assault
        8. Celtic Fury
Quickbar8
          1. Sprint
          2. Str/Con debuff
          3. Dex/Quick Debuff
          4. Attack speed Debuff
          5. Snare
          6. Intercept
          7. Protect
          8. Annhialation
Basically I use 1 and 8 for PvE so i can have various chains right there, 2 for when i am secondary PvE tank and not aggro taker, 6 and 7 for RvR (Reduced but mostly used buttons) . I use 5 for fun in PvE. When str/con buff comes out it will be on QB6
