Chain LDing

For some time now, ive gone ld like every 15 mins. This isnt only a problem with DAoC, its the same thing with all internet stuff. Whats so wierd about it is that when i run my virus scan (spyware doctor) i dont lag or LD at all.

Any help on this would be much appreacited.

Ps. knowing my skills with computers it would be nice to get step by step instructions

I get a similar problem. From time to time.

I use broadband from AOL, basically I have disabled using zonealarn the AOL spyware and AOL spyware scheduler, becuase when the run they always seem to kill my DAoC connection.

Secondly check you events log, because I find there is a program called advapi (which is not to be found on the pc) calling a process which kills my connection. The timing of this process running and my LDs are 100%. I have run spyware by SW Doctor, ZoneAlarm, Mcafee, ADaware and SPybot and everythinh is fine. I have written to forums and nobody can seem to help me with this problem.

Not the most helpful post but it may offer another avenue of enquiry.
