Bit of both, the rattling I guess is down to loose pipes which I can live with.

The pump is just noisy, a loud hum and I have one radiator which always needs bleeding. Though I cannot find a leak anywhere.

New pump.

Radiators can fill with gas if they are rusting inside.
Smell it or even put a match to it..if its hydrogen from rusting it will light.

I could go on but sentinels page is good.

Put a match to it? I could blow myself up :p

Like I said in a private chat once the lockdown is over I will get someone in to do a full check. Don't forget as I pay your wages you work for me so I expect stellar service from a peon.
