I personally feel that editing the threads to contain the word /censored/ was going a bit far. Threads can be deleted by the owner, and he could have put the contents in a new, single thread.
Creating a new thread for each joke is a bit hefty don't you think. I created a 'news in the morning thread' once, where ppl could have posted funny things they had read in the papers. It didn't get used much, but it might be a nice example [don't hold it to me if it's not heh ]

i suggessted that but he has edited his threads and left them there. I guess he finds it amusing.

As to why he did that, I gues its his form of protest after wazzerphuk complained about there being a million threads with single jokes.

In fairness it is a bit silly, creating an entirely new thread every time. Censoring is harsh though, I never have, and never will agree with censorship when you get beyond a certain stage - you're perfectly able of making up your own mind of what you want to see, what you don't, and what offends you.

I see that there were chats which folk seemed to get huffy over.

Then they were censored.

This caused complaints.

Then the jokes were reinstated and everyone now seems tobe happy.

Was it a case of "lets all harass Norin" or am i missing the point being a newbie.

Let me shed a bit of light on the situation.

Norin Radd started loads of joke threads. The Wazz started the 'no jokes please, were british' thread. So Norin censored all of his joke threads.
