Celtic Spears

Hi,

Im a lvl 50 full specced CS hero playing on Excal, some of u guys has been asking in different threads and sending private msg about which spear i use and where to get them, its better to put it here then in our forum.

Im using 2 spears atm, Spectral Impaler and Glimmer Geist Spear.

Impaler can be found of from Grannys/Spectral Manslayers in Cursed Forest and in Emain Macha. It hits insane hard but its slow as hell, if you fumble with it in a duell you are screwed But i can no prob hit lvl 50 chain wearer for 600-700 when im buffed. Here is a pic of it and the stats:

Glimmer Geist Spear droped of a Glimmer Knight in Sheeroe Hills near the Dragon's lair. Dmg is ok since u hit much faster then with Impaler and its really good when fighting a group with a pulsing BT or lower cons. Pic and stats:

Well, im trying to get Wvyren Spear of light but he refuses to drop it There is also a helmet with +4 CS u can get from Sheeroe Hills.

But while i was threre the sheeroe one droped and they saved it for me yay

BTW how u use the charges in the spear?

if its the usual charged procs on most level 50 weapons, you have to put the weapon in a quickbar, then to use a charge you target your enemy, press 'e' then push the quickbar icon for that weapon..

Oh thank but i have heard that u cant recharge them yet ?

As usual with DAoC, Mythic put things in the game but they don't work for a few patches.

The Merchants that recharge the items are spread throughout Hibs, a few in TNN (if they haven't been killed by our lower levels, having found that merchants are good XP ) and they will work once the new patch is installed.

Also by then, you will get to see the particle effects of other peoples weapons, looks VERY nice, but does require /effects self in big RvR.
