CE & PVP Primary Armourer position still available

The primary crafting positions for Weapons, Tailoring and Fletching have all been filled; however a dedicated Armour Crafter is still required and any interested parties please contact myself at cuttingedgepvp@hotmail.com Special consideration will be given to anyone with previous high-level crafting experience and you will be funded by the guild to the maximum of it's available resource, in return for which you will be relied upon as the guild's primary source of supply in the field you are skilled in. Retailing of your production to those outside the guild will be encouraged (should you so wish), but a premium rate will be expected to be levied on any equipment sold to an individual from a non-allied guild (read into that what you will)

With Spellcrafting and Alchemy still some time away we do not at this juncture invite applications for these important positions within the guild, but first consideration will be given to those within the provisional CE PvP guildroster who have expressed an interest.

When we have SC/Alchemy on PvP OR RvR and people have the wish for equipment of a far higher or more flexible stat standard than is currently available, I am sure you will be the first in line for an uber-stat custom-made weapon, so don't take the piss out others who enjoy doing it - you are just showing everyone what an immature muppet you are

Crafting isn't everyone's cup of tea, and I for one haven't the temperament for it, but some of us have a high regard for those who do. If you want to take the piss out of a particular section of this game's community, I respectfully suggest you pick on others.


A response to our advert from the successful candidate as follows:

"Crafting on the PvP server where demand should be greater in a situation where hopefully funding should be a non-issue could be very interesting. It also sounds like a possible way to be involved with the PvP server and avoid the worst of the "idiots" that everyone expects it to attract."

I also would put myself forwards as an amour crafter if funded. I'm already an Armour Crafter in mid/ excal, but money is a huge problem. If I had funds, that wouldn't be a problem

It gives me time to read whilst I'm crafting, so I would enjoy it, as would my dissertation .

To most people's horror the jump from Bronze merchant items to iron items is frightening

Put it this way bronze items cost around 1s 50c

While iron items just one step up cost around 50-90s

and if everyone remembers the low lvls money is a nightmare

On the PVP server all 3 realms can interact.. I mean say 1 guild.. can that guild have ppl playing classes/races from all 3 realms/

Just a thought for crafting thats all.. if so then the materials list would be HUGE wouldn't it? cos each class wears different armor/material types for each realm..
