ce people disapointed?

how many CE people look at what EA are doing with red alert 3 and think how crap the ce ingame items and titles are in comparison?

Nice too see there's still players out there that expect an 'I-WIN' button coz they spent 30 quid extra. I'm happy enough with the big box, the lil perks in game and the open beta/headstart.

The only disappointment I'm feeling is towards the CE faces, the Empire one is horrible and not fitting at all, Elf one is a bit silly but the Dwarf one is probably the best on the Order side.(sadly my toon is WP so CE face is completely unusable)

Have not tried the Destro' ones and can only imagine they are better (they can't be worse can they?)

Why wouldn't we be happy with CE edition? The quality of the extras in the box are actually very good, I was actually surpised I got this, I expected it to be the normal game + a few leaflets, but the books are great.

The chaos male head is good too, I've not seen the others but this is pretty cool...only shame is that when I untick remove helm button it seems to be self only(same with cloak).

Of course 'those people' whom get the CED purly to give them advantages over players in game will be 'dissapointed' - Theres no 'I am L££7' title for you nor there is insta capped characters geared up to the nines for you..

Shame you beleave the actal valuble contents are throw away items to you, like there not one of a kind or anything are they?

I bought it for the books really - its exceeded expectations as its beautifully presented and enormously heavy.

The rest is just fluff but its well thought out fluff and not unbalancing - I hate games that give something uber if you pay more - just discourages everyone else in my opinion.

lol that was a joke but i wouldnt mind

i dont see the box contents as throw away items i carefully packed mine up in clingfilm so the contents dont get smoke damaged from me beeing a smoker and my grumlok is staying in his blister pack.

i just hate how non of the ingame ce titles , heads or quest items are anything that really makes you stand out as a big warhammer fan.

yet you can by RA3 and get a cool bear that easily makes you noticeable..

mythic banged on about how the heads would make you stand out and how special they are but at the end of the day they dont really.

i'd rather have a helmet that lets you transform into a bear than the heads and i expect most people would.

im just disapointed the really cool ingame item didnt come from the CE instead its from a game that has nothing to do with mythic.

1x comicbook about the Age of Reckoning
1x Blister pack with the Orc War Boss and his little goblin buddy
1x Charater Art book with all the diffrent art made to inspire the developers at mythic
a bunch of ingame items (2 pr class in the game ie 22 items all together)
some unique heads (or are these part of the 2 items each class gets ?

so to sum it up, yes, im VERY disappointed.....*yawns*

Ingame items:

1 jewellery item
1 campfire
1 face change
1 XP Increase item usuable 3x (? if i remember right)

Chosen face is great stitches up the eyes and puts a third evil eye in your forehead. Dark Elf - dark red hand painted across your face. Goblin - just a different, more orchish face. Only ones i've tried so far.

Personally I'm happy with the CE pack, I knew what I was buying and was not expecting any sort of kickarse weapons or anything like that.

I thought it was a nice gesture on GOA's part to gove old time DAOC players a Veteran title after 29th Sept (check email for codes).
