CDROM - AUDIO

The sound from my cdromz seem to have stopped working, normal sound still works just CDz. Any ideas on fixing this problem??

Try checking the cd-rom volume in windows volume control to see if it's been muted, failing that inspect the cable running from the cdrom=&gt;soundcard. Failing that, smash up you pc

No,

No luck so far, the volume was full blast!
but I haven't checked the cable inside yet..
I'm kinda wierry about opening up the computer, the last time I opened it, it started blowing up power packs, haven't quite recovered from that yet!....still have a fuse blow up every other day!!

Prove yourself a man and rip open that case! Check the cable, is the last easy fix option left

Although y it should suddenly become disconnected is beyond me. What have u been doing 2 ya comp? Me can only wonder
