Should you be able to buy a cd key then activate the game with the cd key then go to your mate give him the cd key and then he activates it and gives it to his mate he activates etc?

Mebbee should daoc keys be free be the question ... oh wait .. you can get a free trial & pay for expansions which are being reduced in price now.

The initial purchase is already free, just download the free trial, then continue to subscribe once it expires. As for expansion keys that would be a stupid idea.

daoc should be totaly free with all expansions, just get a key that works for all expansions, ofc u shouldnt get a free month and therefore you have to pay for a sub right away. There should ofc be some blocks to stop abuse, like only one free account for each cc. And /level should be active on these accounts but only for 1 charachter only. Know many ppl thats curious about daoc but dont have a clue what to buy/download etc so they dont start. Some who start dont get past the 5 first confusing and frustrating levels so /level is a must.

Combine this offer with a massive pr with adertisal on gamer sites with heavy traffic and ingame events to help all the new players that start to play. IMO this is the only way to save daoc, its totally dead now, lol not even my water pots on cm for 20g sell any more.

FREE DAOC AND LET THE GAME LIVE AGAIN!!

however if you meen serials are free, then sure why not... but the data costs about £20 with DR now anyway, its pennies... and they would need alot of download servers

think people missed his point, or i just read it in a strange way, Think... use that word losely here, that he ment, he buys a CD key for say, DR,then acivates it on one account, then... gives the key to his friend, who then activates DR on his account as well with the same key, where as atm we can only activate it once, as its a one use key, now, ok it could be handy in a way.... but not if your account has a problem and you have to give over your cdkeys to fix it

He asks should the CD-keys be usable over and over again which basicly would kill the whole point of CD-keys = idiotic idea. I mean if one CD-key would be enough for all players why should there be CD-keys at all?
