CD Key problems

I'm miffed off
I get a copy of Quake 3 arena, put the cd-key in when it tells me, go on the internet, connect to a server and it says:
'this CD key is already in use'
or
'bad cd key'
and i say to myself, WHAT!!!!!!

anyone got ANY idea what to do??

If you are getting cd key already in use error you should take it back to the shop where you bought it and get a replacement copy.

The bad key thing is usually due to some one entering the key incorrectly. Double and triple check it to make sure

Entrail are you using a legit copy of Q3? Be careful with O and 0 ("O" & Zero)
