On that note TdC, can you recommend for FreeBSD:

(a) a good GUI based Audio CD burner
(b) a good GUI based Audio CD ripper

TIA

GUI? o0 :( I hardly ever use GUI based tools matey! cdda2wav+cdrecord are the daddy! you may want to mosey over to freshmeat.net and do a search on rippers, burners and encoders. In fact tbh I'm a bit surprised you've not made one yourself Xaney :)

edit: I've also used this: http://cdr.sourceforge.net/

I've used a lot of the script based commands, in fact most of the GUIs are front ends to them, but I rather than troll through them I'd like recommendations.

I have a script for ISO writing, suits me fine, but I want a GUI for the Audio ripping/burning so I can see the tracks etc.
