Hmmm, can only get a 125 atm, which is fine as i dont want to go mad. Mate has a Honda Shadow, which is nice to ride, but its not for me

I need to go and have a looksie, there are a lot of nearly new 125's about cos of people having them for 6 months and then taking their full tests and moving up, so the choice is good and varied

doesnt need to be a 125 Edmond. I think the "law" states <= 33bhp. i.e. you could get a larger bike with a restrictor fitted.

Nah the CBT qualifies you for 125cc with L plates only.
The 33hp restriction is for 17-21 year olds who have got their full bike license, but due to their age are not allowed to ride full power bikes.

On a pedantic point, it's not a "test" - it's a course where you pass/fail.

And more importantly, when are you going to sit your full test and get a *real* bike? :)
