My caster is fully toa'ed except Ml's.
Yet, when a merc is hitting me I feel like im fighting some purp mob with my staff :x.

In movies I see that most casters can handle pretty much dmg...
My caster has 1400-1500 hp's when buffed and capped resists, and when i use belt of moon / traldor i even got 15% more thrust resists and 10% more slash/ crush resists... yet I seem to be a fly for most melee classes..

Must I do all master lvl's to have better "resist" chances vs a ML10 enemy or doesnt that matter?

Are casters just weaker due cloth armor? yes they are (but does it make that difference)?

Or am I just stupid to run in 3 fg albs at amg and start moccing + pbaoe

Im pretty new in RvR with my caster and most of the time solo in emain. Allways played Mellee class so im just asking *yus /me = rvr nuub with caster*

pls any got any tips or things to get my caster less "suicide / free rp target"

It dosnt show you that casters in those movies are being spammed with spreadheals by healers, druids, clerics.
Most single casters cant hold his own to a fg of anything and depend very much on crowdcontrol by his team m8's.

A sorc is one of those that can excel in both crowdcontrol and damage, and those are often seen soloing. But most wizards can perhaps kill 1-3 enemies depending on type, before they are killed, vs. a fg. Unless they get mezzed and then they go down as quick as anyperson outthere.

A mage are never better than his support, the most depending relationship in rvr.

and with toa the support of a mage is spread trough the span of healer/interrupt/bg classes. wich pretty much sums up that they belong in groups, even tho soloing is more possible since toa also, just that that isnt my area so cant answer anythign about that

as it was said above... no caster can last longer then the healer can heal u casters are going down fast to melee classes if u don't have guard/bg the only thing u can do to counter it is to strafe lag em to avoid hitting u, or rely on good heals if u moc

Pbaoe Pwnz

Not flamming really mate, but it did kinda make me chuckle when a PBAOE whines about running into the middle of 3 FG's Albs and gets killed. Obviously a bug and all the albs definitely need to be all nerfed.

Seriously, high gain when it comes off but also high risk. Need good healers.

Have fun with your totally overpowered class while it lasts :worthy:

My dark sm guildie kinda gets 1shotted by a pair of rr8+ blademasters/mercs unless I'm there to save him .

I myself do 600 dmg on casters with ragnarok on many occasions, throw in a 200 dmg crit and there, ouch

Quite funny that an infi who rerolled as a chanter is a little confused as to why s/he can't run into the middle of 3fg of albs and kill them all by spamming 1 button

decent toaed tank can easily 3 shot casters without bof. almost as fast as pretoa, difference is you have bodyguard - grapple now to save the day

i really doubt that since i am DD specced and use the lvl 26 (!) pbaoe only to kill pets (and detect stealthers)

fyi most of or an increasingly amount the emain "leet" tanks have rerolled casters for nf as tanks have pretty much a 0 role.
