I never had any interest in cars until I started driving but now I actually go out of my way to watch cars programmes on TV. I'm becoming what I loathe.

Anyway, simple questions!

What do you drive now?
What would be your next realistically obtainable car?
What would you buy if you money were no object?

My current car is this chick magnet.

Once I get old enough that the insurance isn't absolutely insane, I intend to get a Mini Cooper S. Red with a union jack on the roof.

Ideally, I'd probably go for the new Merc SLK Roadster or a BMW 3 Series. But that'll never happen.

So what about you lot? Motorbike types welcome!

I'd prefer an old style mini rather than the new one. I have a irrational liking for cars like the ford puma and the Vauxall Tigra, even though I know both are crap.

If I pass then I'll either be driving a ford escort mk5 or a three door starlet.

As far as my perfect car, any modern aston martin but prolly this one.

It is great, and there is nothing else I would realistically be able to get that would surpass it.

Money no object car? Probably a Ferrari of some description, Probably 360 Modena F1 here .

A few weeks back, Skyline GTS-T Type M.

I also have this -

By far the better of the 2 cars is the Impreza, the Skyline is an absolute beast at high revs though. It is rear wheel drive which means fun in the wet but I just can't find a better all round car than the Scooby.

I currently drive an 1998 Audi A4. My next car I hope will be a BMW 530D Touring. My dream car is a Jaguar XKR, or maybe even the XK8 :D

I currently drive my parents up the wall moaning about why they won't get me a car (insurance doubles if i mention that the car won't be parked at home, but at uni in manc, damn honest parents :( ).

I would like to drive any of these cars: Super Car Top trumps
especially the Merc McLaren SLR and the Porsche Carrera GT

I bum that Porsche but that Merc is too weird looking for me. It's too harsh man!

I don't even know what it is. I prefer the Audi TT parked behind it though.

I currently drive a 1.6 Fiesta Zetec-S, looks like this:

However, I'm replacing it with the Clio 182 very soon (i have the test drive lined up for tomorrow!). Rapid car, leather interior - not bad for a 23 year old ;)

Ultimate car, Aston Martin DB9

Probably not obtainable, but i've always believed if you want something enough that you can get it. I landed on my feet in a well paid IT job fairly young, so i'm already eyeing up some big contract jobs - so who knows, I may end up obtaining that car by the time i'm 30.

Currently have an Audi '80. Im in love with the car, usually after about 3months i tend to get bored and wanna have a look at all the other cars, but im too attracted to the car for some reasons...

Even tho its throwing some problems at me atm... If i was to get a new car in the near future, it would have to be another Audi for sure

We have a pure beast of a machine....

A Vauxhall Astra '91. It starts every time and although it began to "put" and stutter as it drives, it's never let us down yet. And I can go as fast as all them posh cars on the motorway too. :p

atm I drive an old ford fiesta that doesn't belong to me. I tend to like anything Pinnifarina-esque for some odd reason ;) by that I mean cars like the fiat (yeah yeah I know) barchetta or the fiat coupe coupe (not a typo). also, if I had 100k squids to burn, I would buy an aston martin db9 based purely on the fact that Top Gear had to make a new slot on the cool/uncool wall just to house things that rate above super-cool.

other than that let it be known that I don't really like cars. sorry.

Driving a 98 Ford Mondeo LX. It does the job, very comfy (I was pretty restricted in what I could buy as I'm a student and 6'3" so needed something with lots of leg room, none of the normal studenty cars I could fit in :\). I kinda wanna stick with this until it simply gives up and dies, by then I'm hoping to be able to afford an Audi A4/A6. That's probably my ultimate attainable car.

As for the dream machine - my two have already been picked, the Aston Martin DB9 or the Ferrari 360 Modena. Nice.

I guess I'll have to make do with PGR2 for my driving related joys :/

is it just me who has no real interest in cars?

Have a Citroen Saxo 1.4i (8 years old) and a Mitsubishi Spacewagon 2.0i(7 years old) atm .

To me, if it goes from A to B it's ok. Both bought and paid for with minimal insurance (230 for the Saxo, 210 for the Spacewagon)
