Why would you disconnect a user just because they are suspected of downloading pirated material...surely you need to be convicted of the crime first? Not just accusations from the music industry or wherever...

nah they reserve the right to...
same as with shops etc, dont have to serve you if they dont like the colour of your shirt

Yes but thats the ISP's choice (Shops choice) to decide if they want you to be a customer or not.

You dont get an outsider going into a shop and telling the store manager I think that guy has stolen before kick him out your shop!!
