I use the AA. I can't find anyone cheaper, but my occupation seems to make my insurance more expensive. Best advice is just to shop around.

If you're a student and can afford to get a new Fiesta then I'm sure you can afford the insurance no problem too no matter who you pick :p

You should be driving a battered old Metro or Mini like the rest of em!

I recently heard ASDA were pretty damn cheap, I found this out after direct line robbed me for all I had

I went with Egg in the end, quoted me £290 on a seat ibiza sports, where most companies were quoting 350+ and some over £500!

http://www.egg.com

The other cheap ones were esure (rejected due to advert), norwich union (rejected because i support west brom) and direct line (<-- the devil, do not go with these ppl!)

Direct Line and Tesco are usually best for me. eSure is quite good when you've got a few years behind you.

Direct Line has always been cheapest for me, which is odd because they do tend to give the impression of being quite expensive. I guess it all depends on your age and circumstances, etc. When I hit 25 my insurance dramatically reduced :)

I couldnt beat More than. I did a quote on their online website then rang them and told them i had a quote for £50 less than that from another provider and they came up with a quote for £60 less than they had asked for on the website.

You bought a car before considering how much you'd have to pay in insurance?

You have too much money.

i vote for Zurich, they were 1/2 the cost of elephant and admiral and 1/3 the price of the AA, who loved to quote me at £2000 for a 1.5 diesel

needless to say since im in Northern Ireland, it's pretty pricy for insurance :( £725 with a £400 excess

Knowing Zurich it's probably because they miscalculated it :)

Tescos are good for Mrs Yuck.
I'm with Farmers Union, bizarre I know, but all our company fleet are on it so maybe they did me a deal, £600 fully comp.

/edit
I should point out the next nearest for me was £1600. win!
