Capcom Vs Namco, Namco vs Capcom

They wanted to do this game for years but as both are highly regarded and have different fighter brands - they are making a version each.

Capcoms will run on the SSF4 engine, Namcos will run on the Tekken 6 engine.

No idea about what to think yet. I don't see how Namco vs Capcom will work with all the fireball characters etc. Oh well, i'm not a big fan of 3D fighters anyway - It should have been VF vs Tekken or something. That would have caught my interest

Yes - it's definately more Tekken chars translated into SF. No evidence of any Tekken mechanics.

Uh if you watch the vids there are wall bind mechanics shown :d

SF vs Tekken is the capcom version on the SSF4 engine ( upgraded obv ).

From the vids you can see the Tekken characters will have an easier transition to SF than the SF characters will to Tekken.

You can take the Tekken specials and put them in SF as their movesets - but I find it hard to see how you put SF moves into Tekken.

I'd be inclined to have a fiddle with the reverse release, but I'm not really "down with the fighting community kids" so I haven't heard much bar reviews.

Looks like SF4 with more characters and a focus on tag teams to me. The gems thing seems pretty shit if you really can only get some of them by payment.

Gonna wait for the price to come down. I have KoF XIII to start on now when I've got some time. I need my daughter to start sleeping at night and myself to stop sleeping immediately after dinner though

Watched a few SFxT matches on the bus this morning though. Looks OK.
