Can't start the Game!!!

I'm using a laptop(1,1 GHz) with windowsXP... when i start the game i get an hourglass for like 2 secs then nothing happens.

i have read the help and it says that with windows2000 i only need to change the name of a file, but with xp this file doesn't exict.... would b realy nice if someone could help me so that i could play the game

This happens now and then to me too. Reboot usually helps then, tried that?

Also try the complete file-check you can do at the startup, if you get that far.

i have tried connecting to game ower the past month.. and it newer works... playing the game on my other comp(windowsME and not laptop)... but there is times when i can't sit at that comp for like 2 weeks... so would b realy great to get it working on the laptop as well.
tried to search the whole comp for that file and still nothing. ;(

Does your laptop have 16mb video ram? If not, you won't be able to play the game.

Pity there's no 'simple' video mode, as I'd like to play while away too.
