Can't patch

I can't get the patch down (no ToA), every time it stops at the same file. So I can't play as it always starts to DL the patch, then the patcher stop responding and I got to use taskmanager to shut it down.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not a great techy I'm afraid, and you've probably tried this already, but hows about a re-install and start again from scratch?

Just want to be sure that's the only way to fix it, before I start to look where I've put my CDs
