I think its ISP or routing issue, I never had this problem, no matter what time I tried to log in. something really weird, maybe your ISP does some traffic shaping or throtling at certain hours?

What did you do?

Tried to login about ~15times, then it suddenly worked. Since i'm not the only one having these issues, I doubt it has something to do with my internet connection/router/whatever.

I'm already regretting playing EU

got new patch went to char selection then auth error now its just sat at patcher really annoying seems if i get in later from work and i cant log in before 19:00 i cant get on till at the earliest 21:00 hope they sort this as i have a premium package from my isp which has no shapeing and i have got the ports set to priority traffic

plus wire shark says its there server not responding after a point ie it does so much then stops

Last night, and again this afternoon many players experienced problems connecting to our servers. In some cases, players who were already ingame were disconnected. Although these problems were resolved very quickly and the disruption was minimised we obviously take issues like this very seriously. We have been working with our ISP to determine the root cause of these problems to ensure that they do not continue to happen.

Crashed out 3 hours ago and not able to relog. I'd blame my isp if it was the whole "authentication failed" issue but I can't even fucking get to that part.

Maybe I should just knock it all on the head and go and do something more enjoyable - trapping my cock in the door is looking appealing at this point.
