Seems no matter what i do, i can't log-in to the european forums.

Thats b/c you have to make a new account for the private aoc forum. Same as WoW kinda. You make it via the sub page.

I've had this problem loads, what ive done (and it seems to work) is log into your funcom account and change your forum password (I just gave exactly the same password everytime) and hey presto it works, next time you log into forums that is

My gf has tried this trick several times, but to no avail.

Worked one way, at work, have to retry at home but go to account->go to "upgrade" forum account ->change nothing -> click on the "ru forums" link ->try to log in.

Got this reply from funcom when I emailed um:

We are aware of the problems that many people are having when trying to
access the forums. We have a team working on this matter and hope to
have it resolved as soon as possible. We will let you know via email,

have to agree its just alot of whine with very little helpful info.

I can access the forums but am unable to login, not that I really want to post much on there anyway, ironicly there seems to be a large and rather vocal population of children skulking around them.

The most annoying function for me - or rather lack there of - is the search not working.
