Every time I boot the PC the power management icon is back in the taskbar.

Every time I go to system - power management - & unclick the option "Show icon in the Taskbar" (roughly translating from german).

Then next time I boot the PC the GD icon is back in the taskbar once again.

I can't find the registry key which controls this.
Can anyone help?
(& yes I googled it but found nothing)

Don't think that would do it.
Trouble is you can't actually delete batmeter.dll even with something as powerful as UltraEdit32
OFC I could just delete all the PowerCFG stuff out of the registry but I'm not so sure that's really such a good idea...
