cant connect to update server error

Hi trying to log on another comp when i do it says Can't connect to update server

but im connected to the internet

anyone else had this problem advice would be appreciated thx

If yes, the computer you try to log on with, does it have internet on itself, or has it internet available trough the main PC in the network.

np problem sorted now was something to do with fire wall on other comp i think
