Ok, read changelog, nothing there, and the option isn't in the thread tools where it should be! :(

You should be able to. I can close my own threads outside the General forum. Click thread tools at the top of the thread, and it should be obvious from there. If the option is missing, then...I dunno, post a screenshot of the top of the thread or something.

Heh, looks like there is something wrong, or they don't want DaOC posters to close threads. I can't help with the closing, I recommend clicking "report post" and someone will pick it up.

Hmm i thought this option was removed for DaoC forums cause there was a time people kept making shitty threads and closed them immediately causeing all kinds of spam.

I'm not 100% sure though.

Very strange, you are in a group which gives you this privilege.

Can you logout and clear your cookie and relogin and let me know.

Create a new thread and tell me what it does.

Ok, logged out, cleared cookies and cache, etc. Bizarre. I created a thread in the WoW and could close that no problem, it even had the extra little option at the bottom to close thread after posting. However, I went back to Excal OT and same happened, no option.

Test thread 2

Right its a permission issue on the actual forums itself. Need to figure out how to remove any special permissions .....
