i dont want u to think i mean all germans here, i have played with quite few germans who are really nice.

But... the amount of time i have been invited into a grp out of the blue i join, they say german? i say nope and they leave or just kick me out.

or i invite them they say german? i say no and they leave

i mean i can understand the probs if they dont speak english or i dont speak germany.


but come on all they have to do is ask first, if they dont want to play in my grp because we are english, all they have to say is like sorry no english, hell bye would do.

not just leave or kick u out.

and i sure its not that much of a big deal if u dont understand them, u just play the game.

which gets me onto another thing that starting to annoy me
its a english server, but the amount of other sutff being used in main and broadcast thats not english is a bit much at times.

even more when they run up to u, say something in german/french, u say sorry i dont understand, then they start talking to u in english, it should be the other way around.

well i guess im ranting to much now so i will stop

It's old news that French is the main language on Gorre and probably will be on Camlann, not much we can do about it as the French are the majority.

It's an english server in the way that NPC's talk to you in English, that's all.

French and German players have every right to play on the server any way they want as they've payed their monthly fee just as we have.

Okay, they're rude to just drop you like that but the Germans are taught to be rude to us English very early on in life. Just get over it and take pleasure in ganking every German gray con you see. :D

GOA said on their webbie that English is the main language on the server and must be spoken on all public chat channels.
Doesn't seem like the Germans/French have read or took note of this.

Maybe it is a widely used native language in proportion to population but the official language on Camlann will be english.

but whats the betting GOA wont do anything about the fact very few people have taken note of the fact u are ment to speak english.

ofcourse i have seen people speaking english even tho its not there main, but there are still loads of french using broad and caps lock.

still always seem like the french love to shout, we get a lot round here and u can here them coming from a mile away

Can u imagine being in holidays in a hotel, lets say Canary Islands.

The guest are groups of of French (30%) Germans and British and the rest of a few other nationalities.

When doing sports or nightlife activities what would you do ?

Trying to communicate could be a way.
Do you think, you can implement an official language?
Should be difficult.

I´m sure, everybody of the German players could communicate in basic english, but believe me, some are shy to do so. (I hear you loughing)

My problems in communication with players using a foreign language are the terms and the slang.

To be honest I think you've actually missed my point. Not too clever either huh?

Look, discriminating against people because of their colour or beliefs is racist.

Having a laugh on an internet forum about fellow members of Europe isn't.

God, lighten up. You NEVER hear about english people moaning because some french guy called us 'Roast Beef' or some German called us all skin head thugs.

What do we do when the french say our food is shit? We laugh it off.

Like I said, just lighten up.
