Right here muckers, looking to see if anyone can help me, im looking for "Canon in D" performed with Piano and Violin, if anyone has seen the Evangelion Movies its the song that they always perform during the scene changes (when all the pilots turn up to a music hall and play this song).

Any help appreciated, thank's.

Also no im not getting married.

Got it performed by a string ensemble if that helps you at all?

One of my favourite pieces of music tbh, when I was younger I suffered terrible night terrors until mum pointed me to a tape with classical music backed by the sound of ocean waves. This piece of music was on it, wish I could find it again ^^

You're probably talking about Pachelbel's Canon in D.

One of the most arranged pieces of classical music.

Aye. Pachelbel's Canon in D.
I bet if you search for it in Morpheus you'd end up with 500+ varieties of it.
(I deleted Morpheus from my PC after taking security advice LOL)

its a good song :D

I've probably not heard the exact version that's in qiestion here, so -
BUT...if we're talking about a classical piece of music with no voices, then I wouldn't call it a "song". Technically, its a piece of music. Its a song for mp3 users / iPoD generation. If I have to go with the times, then I guess all music items are "songs" now. Anyway doesn't matter so who cares ? If no one cares why am I still typi...

Technically Canon in D is a contrapuntal composition that employs a melody with one or more imitation of the melody played after a given duration. Thus making it an Arrangement rather than a piece of music, but I digress.

Thoes of you of a classical nature will notice my error, rather than being an arrangement its more of a set of variations.

omg lol you got rolf playing it on stylophone??? does he kick in with the wobble board and start going ooh aaah ooh aaaa cha cha cha?

tbh rolf harris is a true idol, did you know:

when he was born his ribs were flat.

he was a swimming champ in australia.

his wifes poodle was bridesmaid at their wedding.

he is jake the peg.

he has an extra leg.

idle iddle iddle umm.

animal hospital was the most popular programme at the time.

more animal hospital toys were sold than barbie dolls.

rolf is one of the most popular acts when he performs at glastonbury.

everyone knows at least one of his songs.

it's impossible to listen to all the words of "Two Little Boys" and not get a bit choked up.

:worthy:

[disclaimer: these are all facts that i've pulled up from memory so don't blame me if theyre wrong because they are just annecdotal evidence.]

Aye

(but don't feel too sorry for the boys - they're probably multi-millionaire playboys now living of the song's royalties :p )
