Well, considering that Sky is by a MASSIVE margin the major player in Digital services at the moment, and considering that MS's stake in both NTL and Telewest is fairly minor, I don't see how it can be considered a monopoly. But let's not let the facts get in the way of a good kicking of MS, eh!!? Wonder if we can get BT in there as well somewhere...

Nothing wrong with a bit of MS kicking, Stu. Hardly going to affect their reputation now, is it?

Bollocks. ITV have fucked my team. The X-Box never hurt anyone - except those who were hospitalisef for weeks after dropping it on their feet ... and falling through the resultant hole in the floor.

I'm going with Stu, the monopoly of Murdochvision has only put the price up for everything with no added content, to sooner we get a reasonable alternative with a big gun behind it the earlier the prices will come down and Digital TV will be worth watching.

On the one hand Murdoch is a seventy-year old "born again christian" who left his wife for someone 30 years younger, pimps pr0n in his papers and TV, pays next to no tax in this country and slags off the royals and the government all the time (and he's not a UK resident even).

On the other hand Bill Gates is the world biggest philanthropist.

No contest as far as I'm concerned, Murdoch can go stuff himself.
