Can you help?...Problems with TOA installation

I hope some one can help with this. Here is the problem.

When trying to instal TOA here is what happens:

Disc 1 loads fine.
Disc 2 loads up towards the end and then I receive the following error message

'Could not load the DLL Library
...\Locals~1\Temp\GLF28B.tmp
The specified module could not be found'

When I 'ok' this error message the whole installation just crashes. After 10 minutes of files installing there is nothing but an empty folder. The specific file can change but is always preceded by 'GLF'. I have a newish computer with plenty of hard-drive.

Any suggestions please?

i hate to say this but the CD is corrupted. if you know someone else who plays TOA near to you see if you can borrwo there copy to install it but use your CD key to activate.

also have you activated the CD key on the web-page?

otherwise you will have to send it back afraid

Thanks for the info, I was hoping I could save the 3 weeks return time on the product. I dont know anyone near with TOA.

Another option is to ask for a friend to send you a copy of cd 2 over ftp or perhaps you could try looking for it on a p2p network. Shouldn't be illegal as you have a copy of the game. Depends if you are on DSL/Cable though I guess.

Tried starting the game anyway? ( that of it which has been installed ).

It could let you download the rest via the patcher.

If you have camelot.exe in the toa folder, just start it up, fill in cd-key and let the patcher download what you miss.

If the files dissapear when installation crashes, try to not click abour when it crashes, but instead go to windows explorer and try copy the files to another directory if they are still there.
