Can this system handle SI ?

Will that do me for SI ?

CPU is not at the recommended speed of 1.4 but surely the gfx card and ram will make up for that a bit ?

Pfft...Yes, yes and yes...almost.

Your specs will be fine.

Minimum specs are always a bit of an exaggeration. You can often play with lower specs than those suggested and you will rarely notice any side effects as long as you keep the detail levels fairly low or on the medium settings.

Put it this way, SI will run "OK" on a 1ghz, 512ram@100mhz, gf3 ti200 machine.
