Since you seem to [censored] go the easy way.
Spec 49 mend, stay at 1.5 - 2k range spam spreadheal and alternate with /assist Savage1 use 2.3 k amnesia.

Rince and repeat. Vs albs just heal the non assisting tanks and hope You outlive 2*bof.

You wont get any decent answers/info here.

Ask a nice healer in hagall or aegir for some info. Also your spec will basically outline your rvr role.

I wont go into details, but you can go : pac/mend for cc/heals or mend/aug, aug/mend or something in between like mend with some pac, although thats not acookiecutter spec.

A healer's job is not an easy one. But state your spec first and some might be able to help?

Depends on Spec - I don't play a Healer but a regrowth Druid (2nd line Nurture) so if you're playing a Healer with primary spec Mend then the below might help.

1) learn your heals, anybody that says "spam spread heal" isn't an effective healers, biggest problem for primary healers (apart from interupts) is power consumption. Good use of single targeted heals can be very effective.

2) watch your fellow healers, if they have aggro in the form of a single attacker see if you can help them by CC'n the attacker off them (not so essential for Mid Healers as some specs have access to insta CC).

3) only use Instas are emergency heals, use them wisely (goes without saying really).

4) if Aug spec it's your responsibilty to make sure resist buffs are always refreshed (along with the shaman). Keep an eye on the timers and make sure the group pulls over somewhere safe in time to refresh.

Healers are basically 2 completely different classes depending on spec, the above covers the "healing aspect", somebody more qualified can cover teh CC.

If you're new in to the game/realm/class I suggest not to go for pacification in RvR. Its a painfull and "messy" spec... you end up with ALOT of spells and will find yourself permanently switching quickbars. (I had 3 quickbars for regular spells I would use in combat, 1 quickbar for buffs and another quickbar full of spells like rezz, cures and such when I was pac spec.) In the heat of the battle it can be very hard to decide what to do and a single fuckup can mean death for the whole group.

Mending/Augmentation or Augmentation/Mending is Healer on "easy mode", well as easy as it gets. The Aug/Mend spec increases your survivabilty a great bit and you dont have to bother with instant crowd control spells. My Healer has all spells she uses in combat on 1 quickbar.
As a Mend/Aug healer your primary job is healing. The problem with that is that it gets you alot of attention. So the first thing you should learn is kiting enemy tanks. Basicaly you need to have a close eye on the fight and keep moving between the heals. Never cast more than 1 or 2 spells from the same position because some enemy supporter is bound to do a /g Healer <direction> and then you are fecked. If it looks like a tank is going for you sprint! Try not to show him your back since there are some nasty positional styles and prefent flight that can render you useless almost in an instant if you get hit once.

As an Aug/Mend healer you're "just a secondary healer". Basicly you are using the same heal spells as the Mend/Aug but they are less effective and more power consuming. Your ace up the sleeve is the celerity spell wich gives your tanks a great attack speed boost. Kiting is not THAT important as an Aug/Mend Healer. You can soak up imense amounts of damage (and stay alive if you dont get slammed) and deal a good bit of damage by yourself. It can be very confusing for the single enemy tank who went to interrupt you when you pull a out your hammer and start hitting him (and actually hurt him). Very often they leave you alone after a few swings and go for the primary healer or /assist their MA.

Not true, it has been stated by the Healer TL that spread heals for more hp/pr mana than single target heals, so..... not even fixed in US now afaik...

Can be expanded a bit to a more universal statement about rvr in Doac:

"make a tank and become an assist monkey" and you really dont need to know much but hitting a few buttons and do as squad leader says.

This goes out from the assumption the spreadheal is actually 'used entirely'. If you're using spreadheal to heal a tank for approx 400 hp the spreadheal is VERY unwise to use.

Also dont forget spreadheal has this 'LOOK I AM HERE, THE HEALER KILL ME' graphic on you when you cast it.

I suppose when you run with 3 healers in the average Mid-group its no problem to just spam spread but its NOT the best healing you can do.
