I'm at a company that has a really nasty firewall that blocks anything fun - except for Freddyshouse for some bizarre reason! :>

Could someone copy and paste 1.97c patch notes here please from the Camelotherald.

PS What I don't understand about this company is that they block literally 99% of Games or Game Related Sites, Proxies, Fantasy Football, anything fun, yet they allow Facebook o_O.

- Bards, Minstrels, Paladins, Skalds, and Wardens will now be able to run two songs or chants simultaneously.

- Flutes, Lutes, and Drums will now be able to play any song type, and will no longer be limited to specific songs.



CLASS CHANGES AND FIXES

Bainshees

- The Magical Ablative Armor buff chant in the Spectral Guard Specialization Line has been adjusted as follows:

Level 30 - Audible Barrier - Magical Ablative 60, 30% of hit absorbed per hit
Level 40 - Tumultuous Barrier - Magical Ablative 90, 30% of hit absorbed per hit
Level 50 - Resounding Barrier - Magical Ablative 120, 30% of hit absorbed per hit


Bards

- The following Power Regeneration songs in the Nurture Specialization line have increased in value:

Level 10 - Rhyme of Creation - 2 power / tick
Level 21 - Rhyme of Nature - 4 power / tick
Level 30 - Rhyme of the World - 6 power / tick
Level 39 - Rhyme of the Cosmos - 8 power / tick
Level 50 - Rhyme of Creation - 10 power / tick


Healers

- The following Power Regeneration buffs in the Holism Specialization line have increased in value:

Level 4 - Empowering Unity - 2 power / tick
Level 14 - Empowering Harmony - 4 power / tick

Its a big boost for bards. Skalds don't really gain much. What about minstrels?

What I would have liked was that you could play 1 song/chant all the time or 2 with your instrument out. That way it could give bards some more options with templates and also if they did get a (grey/green con) pet on them they would be able to switch to sword + shield and kill it without the rest of the group losing end.

I thought Wardens were already overpowered? - is this going to make them even more so?

It looks like Healers - I imagine it is PAC Healers have had their power pom doubled? It almost sounds like a free Average Power Myth? It'll help with healing in RvR and farming I suppose. Will it mean FoP will be unnecessary? How much does FoP give?

I think Skalds were already wanted in groups - so it'll be another small plus for them.

I wonder if they are going to boost savages any time soon.

With a greater pow myth and pom 10 u wont need fop at all for pve. In rvr fop is not really needed unless u spam spreads and spec grp heal in a keep fight.

Really big bard boost tho running on end pots for hib suck haha

YES! Only to bad patch is 2-never~ish years away from german servers. Would rock though.

1700 people online at 8gmt last night on Devon cluster.. Screw german servers tbfh :D

First to patch, almost as many people online and it's in english with yet another cluster incoming if it's ever needed

Problem for some peps is the hidden lag as i pointed out 1 mill times. I would rather play us than eu if that problem wasent there.

Maybe I've been lucky, but in RvR over in the US I've had literally no lag at all, and the connection has been great 95% of the time.

Couldn't ask for much more really.

My connection to the US servers is (if anything) better than I got to the EU ones since it doesnt go through shitty french internet pipes.
