i just got a programme that allows me to remap my keyboard functions, as i wanted my hotbar keys on the numpad, and the in game keymapper dint seem very good. anywho i noticed it had another function that allows me to setup keys as a sequence of keys so i could have one key to switch to drum, switch to quickbar 2, play speed song and switch back to quickbar 1. or one key to switch to quickbar 2 , activatve a pet target macro, run pet spell, and switch back to quickbar 1 and turn dmg buffer back on, that could lead to some easy twisting.

sounds good, but is this legal? i dont wanna brake any rules.

Officially it's illegal, but, as long as you don't use it to get an advantage over other players (ie, /lastattacker, /face, /nuke /nuke /nuke /nuke /nuke. Or for crafting), it won't be 'noticed' (or rather, in some cases, ignored) by the GMs. However, you can bind QB items to your keyboard so you don't need to switch to your QB.

To do this, put the speed song on for example qb 10, slot 10, and use /qbind 10 10 to bind the song to a key. It's the same thing.

I can't see any other reasons why you would want to bind a series of actions to a single key other than getting an illegal advantage over other players.

One of the things you agreed to when playing this game was not to use external tools in order to influence the gameplay. Also that you're not allowed to automate any tasks that would otherwise require you to actively use your PC. However, there are these gamepads and what not that allow users to bind game functions/keys to their gamepad. In these cases it's known that GM's have ignored any reports regarding these uses. They will, however, undertake action whenever a player uses these tools to gain an unfair adventage against other players (even if it's in PvE).

Mind, that's how I understand it, it's a complex issue though, so I'm probably wrong on a few things. So, my advice; don't do it. You don't really need it.

It's a touchy issue, and I'd avoid it alltogether if I were you.
